Our autumn & winter indoor meetings are held at Weald Memorial Hall TN14 6PT:

All our meetings are free and do not require prior booking unless stated otherwise. Non-members are always welcome at meetings. We do not charge for refreshments, a small donation towards costs would be most welcome. Young persons (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at our meetings.

General inspection and preparation for honey extraction

General inspection, varroa treatment

Saturday 15th September – Honey show
Venue:- St Bartholomew’s Church Hall, Otford TH14 5PQ
Submission of entries 9.30am-10.00am. Closed for judging 10.30am-2.00pm. Open for viewing 2.00pm-4pm.

Dr Karin Alton from Sussex University will be presenting her work on “Planting for Bees”

Mr Paul Vagg will be giving us his expert guidance on “Cooking with Honey”. Why not bring along a cake using the honey show recipe and get his opinion on how to get a perfect rise and even bake.
