  1. Hello,
I am seeking some guidance please. I am interested in taking up bee-keeping.
I note that you have a presentation on the 3 March for members.
Is it possible to attend and experience a ‘flavour’ of bee-keeping before ‘jumping’ in with both feet , so to speak!
    Look forward to you response.
    Merry Christmas,

  2. Hi June. In reply to your query about our training day in March, this is open to non-members. For a booking form and more information, please email me on

The training day intention is to give prospective and new beekeepers an overview about beekeeping, including some of the joys and pitfalls, the commitment needed and basic guidance on locating and managing your hive.
