Programme 2024

Our meetings are free and do not require prior booking, unless stated otherwise. Non-members are always welcome at meetings. We do not charge for refreshments, but a small donation towards costs would be most welcome.

APIARY MEETINGS: dates & times are detailed in the programme above.

IMPORTANT: Hilbert Road Apiary meetings always start at 11am. Please ignore the programme which states they start at 10 am.

If you are contemplating buying equipment we suggest you try a taster session first at one of our apiaries, to see if you are comfortable handling bees, before making any outlay. If you don’t have a bee suit we would suggest you come dressed in a long sleeved top, jeans/trousers tucked into wellingtons. Non-members are always welcome at our Apiary meetings. Young persons (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you are not certain of the Apiary locations, check with the appropriate Apiary manager.
